Weddings are always a special occasion and need to be thought of differently.
Below are a few tips to consider to ensure you make yours that little bit special.

Check what time the venue will allow the disco to get in to set up, you don't want to be hanging around whilst the disco is assembled.

Check what time the venue closes and if there are restrictions on the noise levels due to other guests etc.

Check what time you will need to finish, remember often the guests will have been "on the go" since early in the day and children will become tired.

Will you have "extras" such as setting off hot air balloons, a band playing a short set, is there a games area such as roulette wheel, in summer you may have a fairground attraction to be at the venue.

Consider the timetable for the evening; You may have a meal being served, if it is a full sit down meal it will take about two hours to serve, assuming about 80 to 100 guests.

You will have a range of ages, the Disco should be able to provide a full spectrum of music styles and genres to suit all your guests.

When will you have the speeches, after the meal, do you need a microphone to use for them.

Will you have a "cut the cake" ceremony and a photo opportunity.

Consider having a "Kodak" moment at the beginning of the dancing so the guests can have a picture of the newlyweds having the "first dance"

What time is the ceremony, if it is in the morning it will be a long day for you and your guests.

Consider this arrangement for a wedding ceremony taking place at 3 pm

3 to 4 Ceremony
4 to 5 arrival at reception and photographs
5 to 7 meal
7 to 8 Speeches/chill time
8 First dance/Photo moment 1st. Disco session
8:30 Buffet for evening guests
9 to midnight Disco

The final piece of advice is this:
It will be an emotional day and physically exhausting, don't try to cram too much into it, nothing will move as fast as you had thought, if you book reputable suppliers you will have a wonderful time, they will do all they can to make your day perfect!
