What happens when you book New Forest Disco

  • We receive your inquiry and send you a quote by e-mail based on the length of time you want the disco, the start and end times, the location of the disco and style, wedding, birthday party, whatever.
  • We send out your invoice for the deposit.
  • Upon receipt of your deposit, we enter you into our calendar as a booking
  • We will e-mail to confirm your booking and invite you to send your song list if you have a preference
  • Around 24 hours before your booking we will check over your playlist, check which songs we have from our extensive library and any songs that are not available we will obtain ready for you. We go to great trouble to make sure that you are able to hear the songs you have requested, when we have compiled a playlist of your most requested songs we will add in our choices based on the genres you've chosen and the style of music you like. Please always remember the clue is in the name new forest disco.
  • We will integrate the music you have requested with our choices and prepare the evenings playlist.
  • We will load our vehicle with the choice of lighting and sound system that is appropriate to your venue and event.
  • We will arrive at your venue approximately 1 hour before the start time of your event, load in equipment and check everything is working correctly.
  • We will have a short break to decompress as it were before the start of your entertainment.
  • During the first hour there is the opportunity to play some background music and requests as your guests arrive and greet each other.
  • Hopefully we will be able to play any requests that we have taken on the night from you or your guests.
  • As the evening begins to warm up, we will move towards popular and classic dance music so that you will feel able to dance and we will moderate the music in tempo usually increasing it over the course of the next two hours.
  • We will usually keep the most banging tracks for the last hour or so.
  • We will always try to end on classic anthems, so you have a rousing end of the evening.
  • We will try to end your gig on time and follow any venue regulations
  • We will clear away promptly and be away from the venue in good time.
